[해피빈 모금 후기] 케냐 아이들의 책걸상 선물

안녕하세요.

케냐에서 해피콩이 쓰여진 소식이 배달되었습니다.

많은 분들께서 보내주신 해피콩은 아이들의 책걸상 제작에 쓰였으며 재료를 구입하여 현지 목공수와 스탭들이 손수 제작하여 지원되었습니다.

학교 건물은 작년 교통대학교 해외봉사단에서 새롭게 지어준 것이구요. 이곳에 채워준 책걸상은 하나 하나의 해피콩이 모여서 좀 더 완성도를 갖춘 교실이 되어가고 있습니다.

비록 더디기는 하지만, 많은 사람들의 정성이 모여서 만들어진 학교 건물인만큼 학생들과 지역 사회에서도 의미 있는 프로젝트가 되고 있습니다.

보고서의 내용입니다. 

	Kenya received funding of $200.75 through an online fundraising where 331 people participated in South Korea. The money was received on 15 February 2013, and the fundraiser meant for one of the communities that we work with, Bethel Primary School in the Kibera slums in Nairobi. Bethel Primary School is a community school that offers basic affordable education to underprivileged children in the slums. One of the main strengths of this school is that it provides meals for the enrolled pupils for free, which has helped more children to join school.
